The Justice Department will address threats against school officials and staff

COVID-19 protocols around the country have divided parents and school staff, in some cases leading to violence and intimidation.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland is directing federal authorities to meet with local law enforcement about the spike in violent threats against school board members, teachers and others.
