Peloton recalls over 2m bikes over seat post assembly breaking during use
Recall includes about 2.2m of the Peloton Bikes Model PL01, sold from January 2018 though May 2023 for about $1,400
Peloton is recalling more than 2m of its exercise bikes because the bike’s seat post assembly can break during use, posing fall and injury hazards.
Shares of Peloton Interactive fell more than 7% in Thursday morning trading. The company’s shares have fallen 39% over the past 12 months, and are about 95% off their highs in late 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic.
