Change comes after vaccine was temporarily halted while scientists investigated rare but dangerous blood clots
Independent advisers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Johnson & Johnson’s Covid-19 vaccine should be distributed with a warning label affixed, but that the benefits of preventing Covid-19 still outweigh the risks of rare blood clots.
The change comes after distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was temporarily halted while scientists investigated rare but dangerous blood clots with low platelet counts linked to the shot.
